The company was founded by Ricky Frood, whose career spans more than 30 years within the joinery, construction and luxury kitchen industries. Ricky began his journey as a bench joiner, developing a deep understanding of traditional craftsmanship, materials and precision detailing. He later progressed into specialist shopfitting and site management, gaining invaluable experience in coordinating complex projects and delivering work to exacting professional standards.

After becoming self-employed, Ricky built an excellent reputation for fitting kitchens and bathrooms, as well as completing high-quality building and renovation projects. Working with a variety of established kitchen brands gave him an invaluable insight into every stage of the process—from initial design and product selection through to installation and the final finishing details.

It also revealed an opportunity to offer something more personal, more accountable and considerably more refined.
